My friend has an old 80gb PS3 that is a bit broken. Whenever the system is turned on, the screen shows only black and the start-up audio won't play unless I wait for about 15 seconds. I have already tried holding down the power button on start-up to reset the display settings, but it only makes the screen flicker for a bit. I am at a loss at what to do and I could really use some help.
