I have looked at the ps3 recently and noticed, that the 360 exclucive tiltes are being ported to ps3 like, mass effect and games like bioshock.I could'nt help but wonder why, if ps3 is getting some of the xbox's best why can't the xbox have the ps3's too? I am a 36o player and I do miss my Rachet and clank and God of war. Hell i'd even settle war a port of little big planet.

So if any ps3 user's could give there opinions that would be great also counting pc or xbox players.

THANX :3

Mass Effect isn't on the PS3. Mass Effect 2 is. Thats because Microsoft holds publishing rights for the first game, while EA has rights for any other Mass Effect game.

And Bioshock was never a 360 exclusive. It was also out on the PC. Mass Effect as well, but the PC version came out about 6 months or so after the 360 version.

As for PS3 games not coming out on the 360, developers will tell you the 360 can't run the games, but thats an ass reason. The real reason is because Sony owns most of the developers, or holds exclusive publishing rights to the games.

I have both consoles. Actually I own every modern console except the psp.

The ps3 has some great games but so does the xbox which is why I own both consoles.
It depends on the developer of the game and what platform they want to put there game onto.

I doubt sony would share it's games, especially Little Big Planet. After all that was the game to pull people towards there console (trust me you should play it if you haven't).

I just don't see sony as a very caring and sharing kind of company.

Well, but exclusive publishing rights happen because Sony gave enough financing so that the devs could make the games in the first place.

If Heavy Rain were not a PS3 exclusive, there probably would be no Heavy Rain.

Remember Final Fantasy 13 and Devil May Cry 4? They were originally going to be PS3 exclusives. I'm pretty sure Assassin's Creed was originally slated to be a PS3 exclusive too. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Thats true. In fact, I'm curious to see if MS turned away any games that ended up as Sony exclusives. Probably not much, but still something that sounds interesting.

Assassin's Creed was always a multiplatform game. Ubisoft just showed the PS3 case for everything for some reason.
