I am finally getting myself a ps3 after much procrastinating and I noticed how there are different ones that vary in memory size and price.. are there any big differences other than that? and any tips on deciding what amount of gbs I need?

also I see that you can embed youtube videos in your posts on this forum how does one do it as the embed code youtube gives doesn't work

It's pretty easy, I'll try and give you an example.

Example Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ReOw_2f4lpY

What you wanna do, is take the series of characters after the '=' in the link (which I have highlighted in bold font), and place them in square brackets which I will demonstrate below.

To Embed: Type (youtube=ReOw_2f4lpY) but replace '( )' with '[ ]'

Result:

Do you mean taking something like this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xU7Mn_VABLI&feature=topvideos and turning it into this:

[(bracket)youtube=(insert everything after the equals in the www line. Up there it would be (xU7Mn_VABLI&feature=topvideos)]other end bracket.

Edit: ninjad already.

There used to be but now there are no real differences. IMO, buy the smallest one, $300 or whatever it is now, but upgrade the harddrive yourself. I upgraded mine to a 500gb, the drive cost me maybe $150? You just need a 2.5" laptop size hdd, preferably 5400rpm, 7200rpm works too but it just runs a little hotter.
