Well, it seems pretty clear in which direction the rest of this gaming generation and the next one will go. Now if only those 3d TV's became somewhat affordable...

Hopefully I can still buy a game that supports 3D but I can play just fine 2D. If the 2D looks simply bad or doesn't function altogether then I will be pissed.

Otherwise, 3D gaming is an interesting concept for those who can afford it and enjoy it I guess.

Yeah, from what I can gather from reading the announcement and the way they are approaching the releases, it seems that the games will feature both 2D and 3D versions, similar to how certain Bluray movies do. It would be suicide for them to release them exclusively in 3D anyway, since barely anyone owns such a TV yet.

I will never play a game in 3D, I don't even have HD yet! 3D is just a gimmick to me and I can never notice it in films so I can only imagine it being the same in games, if not a hindrance.

I don't see anything wrong with 3D personally (apart from the fact that it's unaffordable at the moment). If done well, it can be really mindblowing, as opposed to motion controls which haven't convinced me that they are worth my time.

I had a 45 killstreak the other day and me and friends all got kicked off with "error code 20007", that means server side error, not client side.

i liked 3d when i was i kid but i guess i grew out of it. they are killing good movies by showing them in 3d, not only because it costs a bomb, but its just a craze. it will be over in a few years. but now it has reached gaming. 3d is destroying all enjoyable aspects of my life. what next, 3d sex? oh, wait...

Yeah, this ain't happening in my house. I just don't care for 3D stuff. It does nothing for me. As long as it is optional, I'm fine with it. I don't even care if they make 3D exclusive games so long as they are as gimmicky as the 3D itself.

The PlayStation Store, for example, will be closed. You also won't be able to manage your account, so if you felt like changing your avatar to that little yellow poo guy, sorry. Most importantly, you may also "encounter some difficulty" trying to sign into the PlayStation Network itself, which would put the kibosh on any multiplayer plans you had for your Wednesday.

There's always a chance the work will be finished before 8:30pm, but then, there's always the chance it won't be, either. You never can tell with these downtimes!

Thanks for the info and thanks for the respect, I also play exclusively as Scout Class, its well known as the weakest class in KillZone. But the only class that has the Sniper rifle, which pleases me greatly.
