PS3 Lan help

So me and my friend want to play Zombies in Black Ops over lan and so we connected each others ps3 with a ethernet and when we got ingame, and my friend tried to join it said "This game has already been closed" and we got no idea why.

Is this how you do Lan.

You need to make sure you're using the right type of ethernet cord. Look it up. I'm not sure exactly what it needs.

i second the cord idea you may need to look it up and find out what cords you need or it may be something else entirely
