I've got a decent enough gaming rig. It can handle most of the next generation on high/mid without any forseeable issues. I've currently got a 360 and a 3DSXL. The XL was because my girlfriend wanted to play Pokemon X and Y with me and Mario Kart 7, because no matter how old I get, I will always enjoy killing people in goofy looking carts as my ridiculously fucked up looking Mii. I'm interested in the PS3 for the 1.5 remake as I mentioned, the WiiU because I like Nintendo games(Who among us doesn't?) I'm contemplating waiting a few weeks, maybe a month or two, for the inevitable price decrease post-launch or the dreaded "Black Friday" as you 'Mericans call it, to snake one or both. I'm on a tight budget so finding a good long lasting game experience is essential to me. The Ps3 seems like the better option in my mind because it has that rather robust library, of which I have several fond memories. That and the PSN store with a handful of FF titles, but, I have a PSP as well, so I might just buy them through it and make it a portable experience...Yeah I seem to be talking myself out of the position of wanting them. I feel like I wasted everyone's time now. In any case, the majority seem to feel that the best bet is to find a PS3 over the WiiU since I'll be getting both sooner or later. (I bought the Wii simply because of Mario Kart Wii, and that I bought 3 god damned times because of various "life" things that happened to separate me from being able to play the game. Not counting the number of times the file was erased, or lost altogether because of a dead Wii, or because I bought my own after moving out from the "nest".). On a different note, if I go down the 3ds/PSP route for a few months, got any good rpg recommendations? I'm getting the LTTP sequel, the 3 Nintendo E-shop Zelda titles(My childhood was Links Awakening) and considering getting FF7-9 on the PSN store for the PSP. Anything in that genre would be awesome, something grindy/mindless with a good story to kill a few weeks worth of spare time would be nice.
