PS3 Price cut

Microsoft lose far less on the console though, (in fact, the Pro and Elite are sold at a profit and have been for a good 18 months now). Sony lost a massive wedge on each unit at first (hundreds of dollars), and though that's come down it's still a good $40 lost per unit.

I'm really sorry I forgot to find out about your story, I mean it is a generalization and those aren't true for all people. (get it?) But, from personally experience I went through 2 360s, and only one of them got replaced, thats why I've given up on microsoft.
