PS3 Problem

Everytime i try connecting to the internet on my PS3, it keeps saying the IP address has timed out. But the internet works fine on both computers using that same network. Its probaly a small mistake that i made that im too stupid to realise. Im using a Dlink Router with a Dlink wireless adapter. Anyones help would be great so i can get back online on Call Of Duty and maybe try GTAIV online. Looks jolly fun. Thanks

Your router might have the built-in firewall turned on.

Is it possible that you've gone over your monthly download quota? I'm not sure if I'm the only one who gets this problem, but I have trouble connecting Xbox Live when I've used up all my downloads.

Howdy all, back again. Well i made the jump from Wireless to Ethernet (Just too many problems), And yet again, i got the dreaded IP Address has timed out. I don't know what im doing wrong.

Im still using the Dlink Router
The wireless function can connect to the internet and all that mumbo-jumbo

Any help would be much appreciated

why are you using a wireless adpater with the ps3? it has built in wireless, no need for another adapter it's needlessly complicating your setup

I have a question of my own, I don't want to take up valuable forum space and its pretty simple just needing some outside information.

Okay I got a microsoft keyboard and mice that are wireless and use a USB plug-in, Could I use them for my ps3 or will it blow up or something.(Not literly mind you.)

Well the microsoft code will slowly turn your ps3 into an xbox but if thats not an issue go ahead
