It's so upsetting, I had a 4 day weekend and I didn't get the chance to play online at all! Campaign is super boring. Hopefully they get everything fixed soon.

What do you think happened? Did someone really try to hack Sony, or does that sound a little too mythical?

They are rebuilding PSN. They have not announced any kind of date as to when it will be up.

It was labeled as an outside intrusion, which means yes it got hacked. The hacking wasn't what brought it down, it was the fact that Sony shut it down to prevent hackers from stealing things like credit card information and Sony company secrets and what not. I think Sony made the right choice. RIght now, they're rebuilding their infrastructure to ensure no more security breaches. Personally I was fine, a bit upset I couldn't play Gran Turismo 5 online but it's all good. I just popped in Oblivion for a little while, great to play some single player games I haven't played in a while.

By the way, like my avatar? :p

It SUCKS, but what can you do.
Besides, it gave me an excuse to pick up God of War 3.

Just annoyed; I got a new PS3 last week and haven't had a chance to pop on to Black Ops with my mate yet but...ah well, what can you do><.

Very unimpressed.
Not at Sony, who probably had no choice and did it to save millions of credit card details being stolen, but at the fuckheads[footnote]Excuse the language[/footnote] that hacked it and caused this in the first place.

The language isn't just accepted, it is appreciated.
