ps3 slim

currently i been thinking of getting a playstation 3 not because am not happy with my xbox 360 but because there are some game tittles that i been meaning to try that is not out for my xbox. what wasnt a problem before because i ust to just ust to play on my brothers but sadly he have moved now so i cant use he's ps3 and when i say sadly i mean it sad that i cant use hes playstation not that hes moved am gratefull for the extra space lol but more to the point is the playstation 3 slim any better than the origanal not in looks but in actual performance.

is there much point of getting the slim over the older model apart from saving room and also is their any downgrades with the new one because my brother told me that the new one dosnt have wireless built witch i dowet is true but tell me if it is please.

also if there good exclusive tittles for the playstation that u could recomend for me that would be great

OH wow. Ratchet and Clank all the way. That alone is reason enough to get the system.

And get a slime. Don't ask me why thats just my opinion.

My Google-Fu tells me that the PS3 Slim is in fact a Wi-Fi capable system, but that's from what people are saying, so I have no idea.

Speaking of, I need to get ratchet and clank...

I'm probably getting a Slim for Dad for christmas. He's been drooling over our 60gb upstairs since we got it.

My recomended games would be
1. Resistance 1 and 2
2. Uncharted 1 and when it comes out 2
3. Ratchet and Clank all of them!!!!
4. Killzone 2
5. Little Big Planet! (n_n)

Meh, it's alright.

The slim can do essentially everything that a PS3 Bulk can do. I think it can't play PS2 games, but let's face it, you didn't buy a PS3 to play PS2 games. I enjoy my slim, it's served its purpose of letting my play monster hunter online, so I'm happy with it.

Yes, there are downgrades with the PS3 Slim. There is still no backwards compatability, and now there is no OS customization. If you really want to play games like Little Big Planet, Infamous, and MAG, or if you want to play Blu-Ray movies, then get a PS3 Slim. If not, don't bother with it... It's not that much different from the Xbox 360.

I heard it gives off pretty bad radiation poisoning.

that would be pritty intense if the controllers started to slime it would be harder to hold and get all stickey lol

Is that really all of the games worth paying for a system worth $350.
I mean sure there good games but personally i wouldn't get the PS3 for just that.
But i bon't care if you get one or not but if you do you should probably go for the origional one becasue at least where i live it's cheaper and you KNOW what it can do.

the slim uses half the energy the phat uses. but you cannot install another operating system on it unlike the older PS3.

What i've gathered so far is you get more hard drive space (128 I think) smaller console & it uses around 30% less electricity... don't quote me or anything I'm going by some other websites

More like ONLY reason to get it.

My suggestion is getting Slim - it eats up less power,so it should be more forgiving to your wallet.

God of War III comes with blood red slime and MGS 4 comes with camo slime.
