I just brought myself a PS3 as a pre-Christmas gift and I was wondering if it's possible to pipe the audio from my PS3 into my PCs sound card and somehow listen to it via my PC?

Does any tecno-savvy Escapee know how and if this can be done?.

You'll only be able to get stereo into your soundcard. You'll need RCA cables for the console (they come with the component cable) then use an RCA to 3.5mm adapter to connect it to the line in port on your soundcard.

Get an RCA to Headphone converter, and plug that into your Microphone input.

Mess with your volume settings to make your Microphone give speaker output all the time.
