This may sound like a stupid question but is it possible to delete certain PS3 trophies? A while ago my psn got hacked and whoever did it earned quite a few trophies on my account, It annoys me to have them as I didn't earn them so I want to get rid of them.

1st thought, why would you want to get rid of those trophies? Pfft, trophy non-whores.

2nd thought, I don't believe you can delete trophies for games. You can delete the data and such, but trophies as far as I know are permanent.

I explained that in the 1st post, there not mine so I don't want them. As for starting a new PSN account I tried but I only have one email account, which I can't use because it's the account my original psn is regestered to.

Like I said, free trophies! Why would you want to delete free trophies! It's like getting a few free smiley pens, who would want to throw those away?

But to be semi-helpful here, I still don't think you can delete trophies. If it's bothering you that much, contact customer service or something and just ask a question or two.

Yeah I know, guess it sounds stupid but it just irritates me for some reason. Suppose I can live with it if there's no way to get rid of them though. Thanks for the help anyways.

How do you get hacked on psn? For what purpose would this happen?

I wish I knew tbh, just one day I went online to find my friend list deleted and a shitload of trophies for games I don't even own.

Just makes me wonder why a hacker would bother to play a bunch of games on your account and unlock trophies for you? I could understand the annoyance of deleting your friends list, and downloading any PSN titles you have bought already... weird.

yeah that makes no real sense

my only guess the "hack" happened cause of an easily guessable password

In this case I wonder why you would think your account got hacked instead of this being the result of a bug. Did you contact service support?

You can't question why hackers do anything, you wont end up with a good answer and it is bound to give you a head ache.

Also it is more likely that it is some bug, you might want to talk to some one with the PSN and check that out.

I think a bug that gives you trophies would've been picked up on my now. xD Anyways I hate to say it but I think someone guessing my password may have been the most likely thing. In fact, I think I might have had my psn account on auto sign up on the ps3 I had to take back. Changed my password since then thought so hopefully it won't happen again.

i hate that you can't delete trophies too
but there's no way around it unless your willing to delete your account or make a new one and lose every trophy you won your self
so what i do is use a secondary account to earn trophies again so that i can say i earned them myself
but for you that also means buying every game the other person played on your account
which would still suck if you don't want those games
but that's the only solution i found
but don't let the dates on the trophies get too you, its a waste of time
