PS3 Twisted Metal Could Have Been Post-Apocalyptic

I understand the two are not the same, but often they end up being similar.

Your post gave-off the impression of thinking they were more-or-less the same thing. While both are crummy living conditions, they're still leaps and bounds apart. Even just saying "similar" feels like a stretch.

I've played Twisted Metal Black and whenever I played that game, I always thought of some horrible future where everyone just decks out their cars to kill other people.

Nah, pretty much just people who talk to Calypso do that. I'm sure that outside of the Twisted Metal Tournament, the world is more-or-less normal.

Still looking forward to the new TM. I've yet to hate a game from this series.
