Not anymore. The RRoD that was caused by faulty hardware in the first 360's is all but a bad memory now which has been fixed and is non-existent in the new consoles, especially the new 120GB Elites. If by some miracle you still your 2005 Xbox 360 then I doubt it's next RRoD will be a result of faulty hardware; probably just a sign that it's been hanging on for a long while and requires replacement.Ando3242 said:Yes but RROD on your 360 I believe is a lot more common than your ps3 breaking down.TPiddy said:Just thought I'd come on here and point out that MS's 3 year warranty is free. But, live you have to pay for. You win some, you lose some.
First of all, just because your controllers work fine doesn't mean other people don't have problems with theirs.Kagim said:Huh? My original controllers work perfectly. My new Dualshock one i got the next day also works perfectly and has never once crapped out. They did the controllers fine.
The controllers are also identical in appearance with the exception of the PS button.
That's cool dude....TPiddy said:First of all, just because your controllers work fine doesn't mean other people don't have problems with theirs.Kagim said:Huh? My original controllers work perfectly. Secondly, the PS3 controller is way too light, the original had no dualshock, and the L2 / R2 button/triggers feel terrible on the hands. They fucked them up and I'm not the only one with that opinion. That's what they get for half-assing it though, considering the 'boomerang' model controllers were scrapped with less than 6 months to go before launch.
360 controllers are the best controllers of this generation; if only they had the PS3 controller's battery.
Well, I'm glad to see you've failed to come up with any good counterpoints to my argument and instead have resorted to mockery. Great show of intelligence there.Kagim said:That's cool dude....TPiddy said:First of all, just because your controllers work fine doesn't mean other people don't have problems with theirs.

I love my ps3 but let's be honest, how reliable is that thing?
My ps3 died 6 times! In one year! After that year, Sony just said: "Sorry, your warranty is expired. You could be 150 euros and have us fix it." They were supposed to do that the last 6 times! Bloody hell, if something pisses me off it's bull like that. Eventually I bought a used ps3 at my local retailer for about 120 euros. You know what? It broke, 1 month after I bought it. That was today. I'm going to buy an AK-47 one day and pay SCEE a visit...[/quote
i have never owned a ps3,but my friend has and it broke again within 6mo.i have a 360 and have had no problems with it at all.
