I bought a PSN card in the USA and now I'm back home in Canada and I go to put the code in saying that it isn't working or is no longer valid. Why is this happening? I'm not sure if it was activated (not that I COULD get it activated now) does anyone know what I can do to get this figured out?

You'll have to make an American account so you can use it. It won't work in Canada.

So I guess I'll just have to call Sony and get them to fix this? I've never even heard of that until I started reading up on help forums

I think it's also on the back of the card. In the legalese section.

If you have a Canadian account (i.e. the address of your account is in Canada) you'll need to get a Canadian PSN card, the US ones only work on US accounts.
Sorry buddy, wasted a bit of cash there :/

Not really. Just make a US PSN account, buy whatever you wanted off there. Problem solved.
Well...yeah. There's THAT.
Just make sure you get a real US address.

I live in the Caribbean and the PSN doesn't even have my country on their list...I think the address registered to my PSN is a strip club in Texas.

I'm not even kidding.

Get outta there!!!

No it's not poisoned. It's actually pretty good. I made it earlier tonight. NOM NOM NOM

Ingredients
Boneless Skinless Chicken breasts
Blue Corn Tortilla Chips (Crushed)
Dijon Mustard
Salt
Pepper

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350
Take your chicken breasts and dry them of with paper towels
Season the breasts with Salt and Pepper on each side
Coat the seasoned chicken breast with dijon mustard (Enough to thinly coat each side)
Dredge the coated and seasoned chicken breast through your crushed blue corn tortilla chips
Place on Roasting Pan
Repeat until you've done that with all your chicken breasts
Place chicken in the oven for 40 minutes, flipping them halfway through
Aaaaaand now I'm hungry. At work. On the night shift. At 2am. On my birthday.

And just wondering but how did you come up with the idea to use a address for a strip club in Texas of all things?

Because...what are the chances of someone using that address for THEIR PS3?
Also because I found it amusing.

Yeah I work nights as well. Mon - Thur 6 PM - 6 AM PST. Since there's NOTHING open around here at night I have to bring my own lunches... which happen to be what I cooked for dinner.
Yeaaah same here. Well 10-6am. And 5 days a week (though the shift hours change every week).
Speaking of that I SHOULD have a sandwich....... *rummages*
