PSN store purchases and "corrupted data" WHY?

I think Beyind good and evil hates me

so anyway ageis ago I got the PC version excited as hell...

however unfortunatley due to a complex issue involving CPU's and PS2 ports everything was terribly out of sync

but I did not fear...for I finally got a PS3 and decided to purshase the HD remake....PERFECT!

that was untill after the 5 hours download it said "data corrupted" and sugested I re-download it....FUUUUUUU

now my question is does anyone know WHY this would happen? did I do anything wrong? I did purchase/download the activation thing before the actual trial (mabye that did it) and I did pause the download and turn off my PS3 as well...

or did the universe just not want me to play the game?

Nothing of what you did was wrong downloading the 'full game unlock' before the trial is no problem, I've done it many times.

There might have simply been an error with the download, tried re-downloading it?

While downloading it don't do anything, just leave your PS3 on without playing any games or turning off the PS3 while it is downloading, if you have to turn it off, pause it first.

This used to happen to me when it said "data corrupted" but it hasn't done that in ages and now it never happens.
