PSP choices...

I have recently found myself getting bored on long drives to and from sports meets. My solution: Buy a PSP! Anyways, I am at a loss of which I should buy. While I know for a fact that I am not buying a Go, I am wondering if I should go for the 3000, at $170, or if it is even worth the $40 more it is over the 2000.

the PSP 3000 has improved the screen colours by a lot and fixed a few problems with the analog nub among other things. I would strongly recommend getting the 3000 as it is an upgrade to the 2000 and very much worth it.

Most people seem to be recommending the 3000. I just need some music and I am fine for long car trips.

Id say the 2000 is better but I just heard that the 3000 was kinda cheap and such but really I would suggest a ds, its just a much bigger library of games altho the psp does have some good stuff, Ive just found mine gathering alot of dust for the most part.

but yeah, if the 3000 costs more then just go 2000 there isnt anything really worth spending more on, at least thats how it sounds

Get the game Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep when it goes out.

If you want to run homebrew or play all your games off the memory stick, then go for the 2000. The 3000 is not hack-able (as of now, at least).

If you're planning on hacking, find an old 2nd hand 1000 to be honest. Easiest to hack.

Otherwise, just get anything but the Go.

Get the oldest model possible, I kid you not.

I got the PSP the first day it was available in the US, and it's been dropped from a story, dropped on pavement, dipped in water, etc.

And the think still works completely as well as it did the first day I bought it.

Get the 2000 over the 3000, definitely not the Go. Hell, I'd seriously consider taking the 1000 over any of them.
