Another boring HAAAALP MEEEEE thread, I know, but I'm in need of your assistance here.

I have a PSP, the very first version, and I'm trying to connect it to my internet router at home, I've typed in the key and connected it and whatnot but it always says, when I'm connecting to the internet, "Exchange of information failed, exchange session timed out"

WHYYYYYY?!

Any tips on how to stop this and how to actually bloody connect the thing? I wanna download updates and stuff so I can play PSP games online and interact via internet with my PS3 for demos and things. Anyone else experienced this? Find a solution? TELL ME PLEASE :).

Any help is much appreciated, thanks :).

Uhm... Well, you gotta make sure all the information is correct and if there's a password on your router, you have to include that in the information on your PSP.

If that fails, turn off the WiFi switch thing on the PSP, then turn it back on or just keep trying again and again and again...

No clue, but mine always does the exact same thing. I've decided it's not worth the trouble and just started downloading everything through my PS3 first, then manually transferring it over. It's a bit of an inconvenience, but if your wireless connection sucks (like mine does) it might be your only option.
