PSP Downloadable games

Hi everybody, recently I have been thinking about getting a psp (mainly because I want to get the new Kingdom Hearts game in September) and the first game I want to get is Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness. The thing is, on the playstation network it is £11.99, but on amazon it is £21.99. Sadly, I can only afford a psp 3000 (due to having no job, lol) and I was wondering, can you play downloaded games off the playstation network on the psp 3000, or is that just the psp go.

All PSN games can be played on any PSP model. The difference between the 1-3000 series and the Go is that the go has internal storage while the *000 models require you to purchase a memory stick to hold your media. You'll need one anyways if you wanna save games, let alone put music, video, and download games onto it. Sticks are cheap and you can find a 4 or 8 gig for cheap if you look around.
