PSP game reccomendations

I second half minute hero. Great game, doesn't go by as fast as the title mentions, especially if you want to unlock everything. Isn't too difficult on normal. If you're willing to wait their making a sequel, but it won't have all the modes the first one has. It'll be focusing on the 'main' mode, hero 30, which was the best mode, although the others were also fun.
Also, patchwork heroes, KH Birth by Sleep (if you haven't played the other games you might not like it as much due to the plot being insane), and Crisis Core.
If you still have no idea, try checking various sites for their top rated psp games.

Ok, I'm going to go into a bit of a rant here so I apologize in advance.dangitall said:
It's not so much hard as different. It's a game that forces you to develop your own tactics. And it doesn't coddle you, it kicks you right into a tough battle with no advice, just don't die. Battles with monsters are based on precision, timing, and strategic use of items. Even when you're rocking top tier armor, and a huge firey buster sword, acting like a fool will get you slaughtered. Armor and Weapons are really only there to give you a better chance in a fight, if you're good enough at the game, you can beat hard bosses with just the basic items. So really it all comes down to individual player skill, where all your items, armor, weapons, and equipment only exist to buff up your chances of victory. I would watch a few videos of it, and read a few of the reviews on Gamefaqs, as they give enough info on it.
It does have it's problems, bad camera angles, lots of loading, a lot of grinding, and sections that will have you ripping your hair out, but some find it fun.
And even if you don't like it early on, once you get a few missions in the game stops sending you to collect berries and has you fight mounstrous beasts. And that's where the game should really be judged, as the first few missions are really just an extended tutorial.
I can give it my recommendation, but It's an aquired taste not everyone can dig, so I suggest find an extremely cheap copy of freedom 1, or find a demo.
If you can't play "M" games, you've still got a large library to chose from. LocoRoco 2 and Patapon 2 (both rated "E") are easy to pick up, fun, and very original. It also don't hurt that they're $9.99 in the PSN store. Full disclosure, I work at a communications company that's affiliated with Sony, but hopefully that's still helpful (if you don't believe me, check out the reviews for those games).
If you've never played Final Fantasy Tactics, you should absolutely pick up Final Fantasy Tactics 'War of the Lion'. It's, in my mind, the best rendition of the Tactics gameplay.dangitall said:
I can also highly recommend Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth. It's one of my favorite RPG style games ever. You play as a Norse Valkyrie who collects the spirits of the dead from Earth and recruit them to fight at the end of the world.
Patapon is a good puzzle game, but God help anyone within earshot of you. They may have to murder you.
Loco Roco and Lumines are also excellent casual games for the PSP.
Doesn't Little Big Planet have a PSP port?

Loco Roco. The LocoRoco games are really good.
They also made Mod Nation Racers for the psp.

I don't know what rating it has but Resistance: Retribution was a lot of fun. Also Loco Roco, Patapon, Burnout: Legends, Eye of Judgement: Legends (if you like Magic the Gathering) and Gundam Asssault Survive (if you can get your hands on it) are definately worth checking out.
And if you like rhythm games then Pop'n Music Portable.

Anyways, asides what I've been raving about for 30 posts, you could also get Peace Walker and Lumines 2. Those are the only games I know of on the PSP, asides Crisis Core. But everyone else has already said that.

Dissidia: Final Fantasy
Final Fantasy: Crisis Core
Disgaia: Afternoon of Darkness TBS with a fair bit of comedy (don't know if it's m rated or not)
Patapon 1, 2 and 3 if it's out yet Pretty good and has really catchy music.
You could also try the PSP MGS games but they may be M rated.
Honestly the ERSB is ridiculasly strict.

finally, parents who do their damn jobs! anyway, i just had a quick question for people. is persona 3 fes for the ps2 better or is p3p better? just wondering.
as for recommendations, i recommend loco roco 2! BEST GAME EVER! the first is good too, but the second takes it up a few notches.
