Right I did a thread a while back asking which console I should get. I decided on the PSP Lego Batman bundle which has come down about $50 in price so that swayed me towards it more. My question is, what MUST HAVE items should I get for it?

I'm talking about both games and accessories, how do I make my experience the most fun with PSP?

Patapon, LocoRoco 1/2, Wipeout Pulse, God of War: Chanins of Olympus.

That's all I can think of at the moment (I need sleep).

Accessories-You cant go wrong with a car adaptor
Games - How old are you?, The Warriors? Great Beat em Up. Linear stories, with flashbacks, an arcade part, and a small sandbox area for between missions.

I only ever played the console version of that; fun for a while but once finished wasn't worth a replay.

Castlevania: Dracula X Chronicles. Exceptional value for three great games.

I had it on PS2, and replayed it a few times on higher difficulties, then when my PS3 wouldn't play it, I bought it on PSP second hand.

As with any portable game console, you need to protect your PSP. You should certainly get one of those play-through protectors that snap on the front to protect the screen from scratches. Also get a hard-sided case to carry it around in to protect it from being dropped. If you don't want the play-through protector, at least put one of those stick-on screen protectors on it. At our store, we get traded in systems and almost all of our PSPs that get traded in have scratched screens because people don't protect them. It costs a lot of money and time (as it isn't easy to take a PSP apart) to replace a scratched or cracked screen. The screen protectors are cheap insurance.

How does it play on the PSP compared to the PS2?

Well gameplay is essentially the same, the graphics have been down graded slightly, and it can sometimes slow down a bit, but apart from that, the same.

Disgaea.

Go and get it now.
I agree with this,
Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness (Ps2 Game ported to PsP, with some new features)
IS awesome, its alot like FF: Tactics, only you can sink a nearly infinite amount of time into the game...
I play the game for a lil under an hour every day, after work, and I've already sunk nearly 100 hours into the game and I'm not even close to 10% done...

Aside from that, you HAVE to get Final Fantasy 7: Crisis Core, its a fun ass game, and if yoru into FF, its even funner. ;)

Theres also God of War, The demo was damned fun.

If you like RPGs, and don't mind repetition, try out Untold Legends: Brotherhood of the Blade and The Warrior's Code. Also, Twisted Metal is pretty fun. These are kinda old games for the PSP, but still fun.

Tekken. One million times over Tekken. The best game series of all time ever, full stop, end of, no arguing, it just is. But Tekken on the go is even better. Get Tekken!

Absolutely. Also, Ratchet & Clank Size Matters, Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops, Final Fantasy Tactics, and Disgaea. All games I play nonstop. And Lumines is great.
