Hi guys,

Recently my computer has been acting a little strangely and after ruling out all possible causes it's got to be either insufficient cooling or power. So I'm upgrading both, for cooling I'm getting a better case [http://www.ebuyer.com/product/118268] with more gaming oriented fans, but for the PSU I'm on the back foot slightly because I've never had to replace one.

Ultimately the two best contenders for around £100 seem to be the Arctic pro-X [http://www.ebuyer.com/product/146758], the major drawback of which seems to be the fact that I can't find a review of it anywhere which is never a great sign, or the much more critically acclaimed Corsair TX [http://www.ebuyer.com/product/134677].

Anyone with any PC modification experience here got any advice or any other PSUs they'd suggest? It needs to be very efficient, high supply at median temps (around 50c) with good cooling.

Thanks

EDIT: Why's this in the gaming section? Because it's a gaming PC and the thread is more likely to appeal to PC gamers than anyone else on the site.

I have the Corsair 750 Watt. It's absolutely brilliant. Just go look at any reviews. And if there is a PSU with no reviews then that is a terrible sign.

Thanks guys, that was pretty much my thinking too. I'll set up the order.
