I got to admit the concept is cool, how you can directly import your game to a handheld console to be able to play any time all the time (as long as the battery lasts I guess). The console itself looks pretty nifty with it's touch-pads infused biceps and specs matching the PS3. But is it really worth it? Is it a must have? I mean if the thing can't hold Skyrim then what's the point right? Sure you could whip it out for a long bus trip but apart for that what's the point? And on top of that I hear the sales are terrible for the PSVita. Does that mean that legions of gamers think the thing to be useless?

Not for me. Between my Android phone and my iPad 2 I see little need for a full fledged portable gaming device. Also, I can get great games at a fraction of the cost as what they will cost on the Vita. Granted I won't be able to play something like Uncharted, but hell I can still play tons of other games, as well as utilize numerous emulators which really open up the floodgates in terms of content.

Yeah I've been looking into emulators, any recommendations?
