So I can't seem to find anyone I know that appreciates the awesome show that is Psych in real life, so I'm asking here. I really wanted to complain about how The Mentalist ripped off the show but as far as I can tell it is worse. It seems people in my life prefer the mentalist though, so I can't ***** and moan to them.

The fourth season just came out, and I thought it was worth a chuckle that they included a little gag about the similarities between the two shows:

But anyhow, anyone else find this show funny? It has good ratings but it doesn't get airtime in Australia so no one knows it. James Roday says the strangest things, but delivers them so well.

I had totally forgotten about Psych. Thanks for reminding me, now I've got something good to watch for a while.

I enjoyed this show actually, shame it aint on tv no more though

I FULLY AGREE! I just watched episode 2 of season 4 and loved it, one of the best shows out there. Brilliantly written and never stops being fun and downright silly. Also the chemistry between the main two actors is great and i like the obscure references.

The chemistry thing just reminded me of the bloopers and songs they always seem to do at the end of the episode. I really liked the hybrid of Michael Jackson and Tears for Fears,
totally retarded but cool.

I have been a fan of Psych from it's beginning. I love that show, especially all the great 80's and comic book references. The relationship between Shawn and Gus is hilarious and both of the actors really know how to play off each other well.

It's a wonderful show, and it's well fit to take over as funniest show on the network when Monk finishes up it's last season.

I've never seen the Mentalist, but everyone in my family really enjoys Psych and it's one of the few TV shows we can all watch together.
