I'll do my best to see bands if they're playing in my country/area and I try to buy music rather than pirating it as much as I can. Unfortunately, as a very poor student with tiny grants getting me through college, I rarely get to go to any gigs at all, and it frequently falls down to pirating or no new music at all :/

Since I'm curious, what exactly do you seek to show? You should note that the Escapist is a special place in terms demographics which you have to take into account for every analysis. Also the result of this thread is not going to be without bias regardless as the people who will respond here are likely to be those who are already very much interested in music per se which you have to take into account, too.

about 8 I guess - I listen to music a fucking lot and I love to talk about it or to go to concerts. Doesn't mean I make music myself or that I listen to it 24/7, though.

Maudlin Of The Well or Estradasphere so I'd say they are the likeliest choices - but I've made the experience that a
far better indicator is album instead of artist since some albums always lack or are beyond awesome no matter the artist.

Yep. It has the habit of being extraordinarily calming or forcefully elating to me which I'd count as very much inspiring despite me not being an artist. I do have to admit that for the little writing I do I came up with some concepts based on songs so I'd also say yes from this perspective.

Oh yes. I tend to buy merchandise from them and visit their concerts if possible. Recently, I've also helped kickstart an album I hope will prove to be very much awesome. Also since I love spreading good music I also inadvertently make PR for them.
