I need help with this. I keep on having flashbacks and I need help with getting rid of them. They don't stop and when it happens I get suicidally depressed.
I also have nightmares, the one I remember the most is me being pinned down while my limbs are being torn off while people are laughing at me.

I'd love to see my doctor but I had a falling out with her over her receptionist preventing me from seeing her.

Thats part of the problem, I can't find a doctor, much less one that will take my insurance.

So get a new doctor.

And while you are at it, get a psychologist to help you out with your depression and possible PTSD.
Agreed, and remember dreams can not hurt you.

Call one of those Help hotlines, the local ones or a nationwide one (I don't know the number but that's why we have the internet).

The good thing is that you'll remain anonymous?

Maybe try to get some more sleep and avoid stresssfull situations.
Try also to speak to a profesional and do Not be embarressed, all nerds go through this stage IMO as our brain chemistry is just a hell of a lot more observant. Also try not to think to much on the little things, Hell I was afraid the LHC would destroy the earth and that did not happen.

Pffft, all this advice about "getting help" is absolute bullshit! Flashbacks and crazy nightmares are the best thing in the world, so instead, WRITE A BOOK about those flashbacks, maybe edit in something about hunting terrorists, sell the book and make millions. Tormented writer types are the best kind!

No but seriously, don't listen to me, get help somewhere.

Yes, but lack of sleep courtesy of nightmares can hurt and seriously. :|

You definitely need to see someone about this. I've dated three different guys with PTSD, I managed to help the one on my own, but he still needed help and the other two are still getting treatment for theirs. Flashbacks can be dangerous, for you and the people around you because 1) they make you depressed and 2) there's a good chance that you would hurt someone if they're around you while your having a flashback. Find a therapist that knows how to help with PTSD, there has to be at least one that will take your insurance.

Is there a website that can help me find one? I feel some of these are a scam.
