Recently, it seems that there's always at least one post under Latest Content that consists of some big name in video game development either implicitly or outright insulting somebody else in the industry. Some names are respected (Shafer), others are notorious (Kotick...), and it runs the gamut in between.
The question I pose is this: To what is this all leading? Will these jabs escalate into a war on scale with the Processor Wars of the late 90's? Will there be a Publisher War of the early 10's? What do we as consumers and, more importantly, gamers, do about it?
