I'd say skip getting a Wii, while there are some good games on it (Metroid) 90% of people I've talked to say the same thing "Haven't turned my Wii on in months". But your choice.

Games I got, Metroid Prime 3, Madworld, Zelda TP, Smash Bros, Warioland Shake it, Sonic Unleashed, Wii play/Sports. They're all fine but nothing that got me really excited (except Metroid)
