purple squares

im playing Fallout 3 Mothership Zeta when i notice that the death ray, generators(when exploding), drone cannons, and the enemy ship exploding all have purple squares. I'v googled this and came up with nothing so can anyone help me please?

It's a graphical glitch, usually due with the item's textures having missing scripts.

As far as my experience is, it only happens with PC games. However, I don't have a solution.

They have those in Oblivion in the basement of that new guy in town at Chorrol there is a large yellow beam that goes through the back room.

yeah, pc version. I also did an integrity check on it, on steam. it didnt find anything wrong.

Missing textures.

Happens all the time in Gmod.

Magenta squares are a sure sign of missing, unreadable, or otherwise corrupt texture files.

It's just missing texture files. Looks like in this picture, right op?

Maybe a full uninstall/reinstall will fix it. Do you have a Steam version or a boxed retail version? If boxed, did you get a GOTY or basic Fallout 3 and then buy DLC?
