I don't like this rant, it's really... one-sided, and... what's the word i'm looking for?
Isn't that the point of a rant?
I guess it is, but it seems more of a rant that's going to get people arguing against it then for it.

But arguements generate the prestigious high post count.

As for what you say of Halo, let me tell you something without starting a major debate.

Halo is made to be fun, the realism that's there is so you can tell what's going on.

I was just simply commenting on the fact that halo driving isn't realistic...
That's about as much as I was getting at, though in retrospect the way I typed it may look like it's hinting at more, and for that I apologize.

Prestigious post count? Me? I'd say it's more just dribble.

It's not that I like or hate the driving in Halo. It's alright but nothing to outragously special, it's just that I generally don't like the driving levels in it all together. Like a race course with aliens planted on them. In Halo 3, me and a friend had to restart the driving level with the giant wheel bikes a few times. I'd rather just hope out and blast everyone, but because they make that so much harder to do you're basically forced into hoping onto this alien grinder machine that handles like a... I don't know, Alien Grinder Machine?

That isn't about gender. Gordon gets that message every time he loses something vital to his mission. It's assumed that it's a message from the GMAN or the company he works and is supposed to show that they think of human beings as simply 'assets' to achieve a certain goal.
I didn't mention gender. I was saying that calling a human life as "mission equipment" is appalling. And anyway, the G-Man was out of the picture at the start of episode one, the Vortigaunts forced him away.

And even if this does't count, why did he get it then, and not when Alyx got killed by a spike being rammed through her stomach?
Fate? No vortigaunts or AntQueen's in the city (oh wait). Lack of time to do it in. But in a way, arn't we all just mission equipment deep deep down inside.
And on a side note, why is everyone certain that Eli is dead, and won't be brought back in the exact same way?
Well it would be kinda hard to squish all that brain back inside his head again.
Or they could regrow it, which is what the Vortigaunts actually do. Do you think they tracked down that Hunter and got back Alyxs spleen?
Since when was any of this mentioned? I thought they all just healed her like wizard magic. You can't exactly heal an empty skull, even if you did fill it back with all the mush. To many different nerves and chemicals going on up there for just vortessance. Well, I'll guess we'll see. But I don't thing he'll be comming back.
