Think of any game that you have good tips for. I can bet that someone will find it useful. And, a personal note, ive just got battlefield bad co 2 and ive unlocked the 12x scope. It says in the description that it zooms but i can't find the zoom button. If anyone can help just say.

In general, try to be respctful to other players. Don't talk serious trash or spew racist comments and stuff. IT'll give you a bad name and you won't be doing yourself any favors.

OTher than that, Ak47 = Must use (for me anyway...lol.)

Its kinda old but I know it well: U.F.O Aftermath.

Never deligate anything,

Take the area 51 mission as soon as it becomes available,

Battleships always attack bases,

Reticulans are the easyest fucks in the game at the start but they get tough fast,

build a lab,get "twighlight and fall" then build a factory and setup the "goodwill campaign" it speeds up recrut rate and missons you dont take can suceed,

shoot every UFO you see,

when the biomass shows up keep that ************ away from your bases it destroys them immediatley and you must have psycic principals and a few other things to push it back.

Half-Life 2: Do not point the SMG at your feet if you left-click compulsively. Really. It's not a good idea.

Yes, I have seen this.

Iji: Max crack/tasen/komato for a normal run, you will not regret it one bit.

Touhou: Slowdown mode (shift) is your friend. Slowing down will NOT get you killed, really.

ADOM/Ancient Domains Of Mystery: Please don't play it. It will devour your sanity.

If you have a high pitched voice, do us all a favor and keep your mic unplugged. The same goes for arseholes like me who constantly insult people and swear like mad.

In general always keep your calm in games and use cover in Shooter games.

Also I swear to christ if you run into me online you better not be a worthless commando knifer.

Sly 2 Band of Thieves: Don't hold the R1 button all the time. It won't make you go faster on sparkly blue things and everytime you jump the motherfucking paraglider will slide out and fuck you over.

In Combat Arms

A fast firing handgun is always a better choice in Pistols only matches

In Snow Valley, snipers are everywhere. Flank them and use the underground tunnels to get around enemies.

In Cabin Fever, have a good team and always try and take out the dynamite-chest and explody-brains-white infected before the regular kind.

ill put down my own tip, hit and run. If the situation goes tits up keep run for a hiding place and keep an eye on your enemy and attack when he wanders away.

Yep guerrilla tactics work, especially in Half Life 1. Also, in Starcraft and Brood War expand as quickly as possible, unless you're ZvZ, scout your opponent first, and then think about expanding. Actually a second tip, scout as often as possible, to see what your opponent is up to.

Dont ever play MGS4 if you want your soul to remain intact.

Dont play anything with Night Vision Goggles on. It hurts your eyes alot.

For multiplayer pc games you're better off disabling any and all mousse acceleration. Mouse acceleration is pretty effective at making aim practice completely useless.

Here's a general tip for FPS games, in fact i'd say its an essential basic but i'm often surprised at how many people don't know this:

Pick a inch/360 value and calibrate all your FPS games to get it the same, the average for serious players is 10"/360 but you can go much higher with good results, lower will be making things more difficult for your self.

If you don't know I'm referring to how many inches you have to move your mouse sideways to get your character to turn 360 degrees in game. For competitive FPS is is vital you have this the same across the FPS games you play... seriously, get a ruler.
