I've been learning take-down arts for years so I've got a mix of styles for knocking a guy on his rear and then running away. If I ever got a laser gun that worked like the guns at laser tag I'd be a pretty good shot too. Oh yeah, and I know some swordplay since for a play we hired a local swordmaster to teach us a few moves. It was great because it meant our duel wasn't scripted. I still think our modern rendition of Romeo and Juliet was a bit rediculous though.

I am the dirtiest fighter you're probably ever going to come across, taking my cue from Sir Samuel Vimes. Anything is a target, anything I've got to hand you will be hit with, any advantage I can take I will take. Not especially honorable, but I've yet to be seriously injured against the various muggers who've tried to rob me, or indeed been technically mugged at all. Only time I ever had to run from a fight was when there were 6 of them and they seemed to have no feeling in their balls.

Tried lots, but due to constantly changing circumstances in the past I never actually got to stick with a martial art. I'll be doing jujitsu and possibly tae-kwon-do next year if I get where I want to be. I don't really consider tae-kwon-do very effective in terms of practical self-defence (or anything that considers high-kicks as practical) but I see it as fun.

I naturally fight very dirty anyway, that's why I like jujitsu. A real man isn't afraid to pull hair, pinch, bite, poke eyes, punch windpipes, or kick someone in the front of the knee-joint.

Also, something a friend of mine always said; "Crazy always wins."

Edit: This double posted for some reason so i'm changing it as to avoid that.

Another question i may ask - What compelled you to get into martial arts?

Peer pressure? Seeing a Jackie Chan or Bruce Lee movie all those years ago make you want to kick ass? Tell me.

I'm really good at fighting, in fact I won a Martial Arts championship, I did odho kwan and judo since forever, judo since I could stand actually.

Strange thing is, I abhor fighting, i'm just good at it.

my style of fighting only works if the opponent strikes first, and i tend to be far to gentle with them anyway thanks to a fear of consequences.

I've got a Wavemaster in the living room that I regularly spar with. Not sure if I'm throwing my punches right, but it sure is a stress reliever.

Every time someone mentions fighting I think of the South Park episode with Russell Crow. *sings "Makin' movies makin' songs and fightin round the world" Classic.

But no I can't fight. I've never actually been in one and I imagine I would swing my arms around in a girlish manner until my opponent laughs and leaves.

Like the DUDE in half-life. He's like the new chuck norris.

On Topic: I did about 3 years of Shotokan and Aikido, but I was a kid back then, don't really remember any techniques. I usually try to stay out of fights.

I fight with a mixture of Kajakendo, Krav Maga, and Irish pup fighting.
With a small dose of Escrima.

I'm the guy that you think would never be able to take you on.
Until I beat the living snot out of you.

I don't do classes, but I do know how to fight. But it's a way I made up.

I've done karate for a few years and judo or about 1, but basically no XD, not against someone i beat anyway. Especially not in a fist fight, i'll always try and get them on the groud and held down if i actually do get into one, so if someone keeps me at bay im screwed.

Taken a few martial arts classes, but when angry I mostly resort to beating my pillow to death. Poor pillow.
