I will give a screen shoot of the invite function of quake live if you are afraid. I got invites and I don't have any more friend that wants to play this game so I give to other.

And quake live is a remake of quake 3 arena (but it will be free when the game will stop being beta status).

Yes it work you only need internet explorer or firefox.
