I just hope they don't pull a "Windows Store Only" thing and at least put a version on STEAM.
Too late, they just totally did [http://www.gamespot.com/articles/microsoft-exec-explains-quantum-break-pc-release-c/1100-6434780/]
"Quantum Break on Windows 10 is a Windows Store exclusive," Greenberg said when directly asked if the game would come to Steam.
Ehhhhhhh..... not sure how I feel about the MS store yet, haven't heard anything bad about it but not feeling the need to jump down that hole yet. Will see if the game is exceptionally good first.
Well, that sucks...
The Windows 10 Store is broken. There are many, many issues with the Rise of the Tomb Raider version from the store.
Want SLI/Crossfire support? Too bad. Win10 Store versions don't support that.
Want the ability to turn off V-Sync? Too bad. Win10 Store versions don't support that.
Want to use Windowed or Fullscreen? Too bad. Win10 Store versions don't support that. Borderless Windowed only for you!
Want to edit game files? Too bad. Win10 Store versions don't support that.
Want to launch directly from the EXE? Too bad. Win10 Store versions don't support that.
Want to use MSI Afterburner or PrecisionX to monitor your FPS/CPU/ETC? Too bad. Win10 Store versions don't support that.
Want to use any mods like SweetFX? Too bad. Win10 Store versions don't support that.
Want to record/stream it with OBS/ShadowPlay/Etc?? Too bad. Win10 Store versions don't support that.
Don't get me wrong, I'll be the first to say that Valve/STEAM need some serious competition (even though I prefer to buy most of my games via STEAM) but locking it down to the Win10 store while the Win10 store is in the state it is currently in is not acceptable.
