Question about Anarchy Reigns

Hello, wonderful people!

A little question about this game: I've not really paid much attention to it before now, as Platinum Games are hit-&-miss with me, but after seeing some gameplay, my curiosity was picked. I noticed then that the game's price on release is about HALF that of a new release, ?30 instead of the usual ?60 or ?70.

Anyone know why this game was released with such a low price right out of the gates?

It was suppose to come out half a year ago but didn't (and Sega still won't say why) so I'm guessing it's an apology since the only people who were excited for it were the fans and those are the last people you want to make angry.

I thought it was to do with the fact that it had poor sales in Japan and so Sega wanted to release it at the lower price point in the west. Also it's awesome and easily worth buying.
