Question About Editing to put Quotes

Just a quick question for anyone who can test this out for me. When you make a post, and edit it to add a quote, are they notified with the quote? Many times it seems like its not and I could swear seeing my own quotes in posts without being notified.

I'll just quote the first post and ask them if they got a notification from the edit-quote

Nah, you don't get a notification if someone adds a quote in by editing a previously placed message.

Its annoying, I know. Maybe we should ask The Escapist to change that?

Khitten has done my work for me, and wow this is a pretty big bug. Wonder when this will be fixed, because I hate double posting to add a quote, makes me look like a gamespot user :(
