question about fallout(3 not Vegas)

Hey, new to the forums here and well, I have a problem, I want to buy fall out3 because I have that RPG itch right now, but on the box it has sexual content under it's rating, which is bad news since I'm underage (not the yell in the mic kind, but the decent less annoying kind) but I want 2 know, is it that bad?

Just buy it off of steam. They dont ask for ID or show your parents the rating. All tehy want is your money (in a good way) And how underage? I got FO:3 at like 13. I'm not traumatized or anything.

Violence is fairly widespread, limbs fly off etc.

No sex at all. You just go to sleep next to someone, and it's called 'sex'.

ok, first off, I own an XBOX icarion, so no steam for me , also I'm a high schooler, and i'm not worried about getting nightmares from it(and to all the people who say it has lots of f-bombs, try going to my high-school, or talking to me for about an hour in real life, rofl) but I'm more worried about my mom walking in on me with blood filling up the screen, not a situation I want 2 try 2 talk myself out of, lol

Yeah, Fallout 3 is pretty graphic as far as blood/gore goes, especially with the Bloody Mess perk.

There's prostitutes. One is does not give out sex anymore, one you can pay for a room, and she sleeps in the bed. But when you sleep in the bed it just rests like normal.

The violence is as bad as you make it. But at some parts it is pretty vicious. Like torsos hanging over a blood covered matress or an exploding head

Hows that? Too much? I mean it can get worse but to do that you'd need to cut up you're opponents bodies after killing them.

Ahhh. I can see how that'd be awkward. Thats how I played Mass Effect(honestly my dad left the room 2 min before the sex scene.) And I played FO:3 on the Xbox. And I attend a public high school so I know what its like. And if you want me to know you replied to me hit the "Quote" button in the bottome right corner. Like I did here.

The violence can get pretty brutal. Limbs regularly fly off completely, and if you take the Bloody Mess perk your opponent's entire body may disintegrate into chunks of gore. I found it to be absolutely hilarious due to the slightly cartoony graphics and the sheer improbability of a single bullet causing such an effect (I love sniper rifles), but your mom may not be so appreciative.

Also, there are a lot of dismembered corpses lying around, especially in the raider camps. They are psychopaths.

Also, you should be warned that the game is very, very, very, depressing, for reasons that include, to name a few: [Wizerd i would not recommend opening this if you want nothing about the game/story given away]

Spoiler

1. 8 year old kids yelling "fuck" and "shit" like its the word of the day.

2. The bleak, gray, gray, a little more gray, and dark green landscape.

3. The total hopelessness of almost every settlement you encounter.

4. And the incredibly dark, indeed almost depressing, black humor.

Not to say these things are bad, its incredible how Bethesda was able to immerse me into the game with things that included the above, but still, you better have a few anti-depressants on hand.

Just going to also voice my opinion in that i thought although its almost exactly the same as Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas felt more fun to play, and a more enjoyable ride.
