is modding a "non" pirated game any different than modding a non pirated game. i use "non" because I "don't ever" pirate anything.

Well yes you totally 'shouldn't' do that.
Incidently

But yeah those games rock, If I had a good enough computer I'd have them modded to bitchery.

All mods ever made have put DRM in them to stop you from adding them to pirated versions of the game.

Mod makers add it because they only mod games they love and don't want to see them pirated.

The patch won't apply correctly in most cases and most mods require the patch.

Naturally, in some cases it will work and if you get the 'packaged' version of the game (GOTY) then things should be fine, but there's a good chance the mod in question will be broken for some stupid reason.

Oh, also, I'll remember you when I release a game...

I'd say depends, but I don't think this is really the appropriate forum to talk about these sort of things..

Hahahaha... that's priceless. Complete and utter bollocks, but priceless.

Not really, no, as long as your shady copy of the game runs the same version number as the mod requires. If it doesn't you might have a few problems finding cracks for later patch versions but if you can do that, you're still good to go.

Of course, if you're also looking at adding DLC a few extra cracks may be required. Depends on the game and the DLC.

*reads down further* Oh, mods for bethesda games (and the DLC for that matter), huh? As long as you've got the required version and any other mods/DLC added, they'll install and run on a pirate copy as easily as they will on a legit one.

You know you could just go to the modding sites and browse their databases... If your rig can run the game it can run the mods.
