Question about Love and Lust

I have been talking to this one girl for quite some time now, and usually most of our conversations end up with sex talk. Literally all of them. We always tell each other that we really like each other and what not. Well today she sent me a "picture" and I feel very territorial all the sudden. Like I don't want any other guy talking to her because i get jealous now.

So is the love, or am I just a horny little bastard and I want her to my self?

It just means you've invested some time into the relationship and are now jealous, hell I get jealous when my best friend hangs around with anybody. Granted I think I'm just plainly a jealous person, but I don't think you have to pick either or from those two options. Friend with(outbutwanttohave) benefits could fit into that.

Well, you asked. Though in truth I'm not sure if this type of feeling is triggered by either of the emotions.
You could want to protect her, or (and you'll have to forgive the bluntness) you want to mark her like she's a tree.

That seems liekly yeah. For what it's worth that's fairly normal, but it's something you'll probably want to watch out for.

The latter. In my experience, people who are really in a genuine "love" situation are secure enough within themselves that they don't get jealous. This isn't anything deep and romantic (yet), it's just the primordal "me Tarzan, me drag Jane back to cave" part of your brain at work.
