Question about Quitar Hero

So... Im pretty mad right now. You wanna know why? I just bought Quitar Hero Aerosmith. Awesome, right? NO!

The version is for the ps3 and I live in europe. Just thought I'd tell ya, 'cause that might affect someting. The matter is that my Rock Band-Quitar wont work with it! Everyone I have talked to, have said that the rock band-quitars work with Quitar Hero and vice versa, but QH:A thinks that my quitar is just a regular controller, which means that when I press the green button, it plays the orange button and when I play the orange button of the smaller "solo" set of buttons, it plays the red one.

Those are the only ones that work. Anyone know what the problem might be?

Which Rock band guitar do you have (I'm fairly certain there are several)? It may be the extra buttons confusing it.

guitar hero (with a G) controllers work with rock band but not the other way round. harmonix are good people. activision are good BUSINESS people.

That happen to me when i played the demo for Guitar Hero 3 on Xbox 360 when it first came out, my Rock Band Guitar did the same thing, but I did have an guitar hero 2 guitar so we just played with that wasnt able to check out the co op/battles. But at the time they were working on a patch, so im not sure how it is now.
