question about Realism in games.

Ok,i tried posting this on the GTA IV forums on Gfaqs,but was flamed to death.so,to the forums on the net that think,i ask you this.

Becuase it seems that whenever someone says GTA IV is Missing out on whacky stuff,fans will say that it's supposed to be realistic. But whenever someone mentions something that IS whacky(jumping of a building with a dirt bike and surviving by landing on your helmet for example) fans will say,"yeah it's a game."
These arguements don't make sense to me.Can someone explain it?

Well you see my friend there is a simple explanation for this. You see in 1984-
I lied. There is no explanation. Fanboys are morons will defend and argue until they bleed from the voice box no matter how stupid the argument is.
