Now I love Resident Evil, I own almost all of them despite the fact I love the survival horror games more.

I own 5 gold edition and 6.

Now anyway this perticular game confuses me because it was supposedly an "episodic" game as in you have to pay for the next episodes?

Personally I want to buy it on my PS3. Is it a complete game now or is there something about this episodic style?

You can buy the complete game on disc from what I know.

When it comes to the episodic style, each episode consists of a Claire/Moira section and a Barry/little girl section.

Didn't finish it myself, but it was nice to see Claire Redfield again.

you'll see little improvements from episode to episode, nothing major but some changes are cool. Other than that it doesn't really do anything special with the episodic formula.

While I prefer Revelations 1 (I'm Jill biased) R2 is a really good game, Moira is an awesome character and Barry is as cool as you remember him. Claire... well if you like Chris you'll love her, not bad just another Redfield I guess. There's no Jill or Leon other than on the Raid Mode which sucks but yeah, if you're a fan don't pass this game up, it's really good and the story is neat.

The whole thing is out on a disc version now. The episodic nature seemed to facilitate a lack of backtracking, and to offer cheap cliffhangers.

The game itself it pretty good and is probably my favorite since 4. It was nice to have Claire again and an RE game that didn't give me 10 times the ammo I needed.

Yea, it's complete now. Four episodes plus two bonus ones that aren't great but aren't terrible. Just beware that the PS3/360 ports aren't exactly great performance-wise, despite RE:R2 being aimed at Vita originally.

Great game. My GOTY 2015, I think. I don't like it quite as much as RE6, since the gameplay was heavily simplified, and there are a lot more prerendered cutscenes, but it's overall really, really good.
