Be thankful, here in the lovely south-east everyone has dirt bikes. Loudest. Fucking. Things. Ever.

Yeah, they are everywhere. I saw a few on bikes but mostly on scooters. I used to have 3 of them back in the day. lol.

Oh definitely. Even out here in Staffordshire everyone seems to have one of these things. I had one about 10 years ago... don't remember using it much though as rollerblades had a resurgance shortly afterwards.

I'm not in Wales at the moment, but I've just seen a picture of the skate park in my home town (Abergavenny ftw!) and there were a horde of scooters. Completely dominating even bikes and skateboards

Kids will always find a new fad to follow. Sounds like these scooters are pretty widespread, though I've not seen any in my town. Then again I don't exactly get out much.
A few months ago my school decided that pokemon was suddenly cool again, after a few years of me being called nerdy for playing it. Stuff like this always happens. Give it a few months, a year tops, and kids will be wondering why they ever bothered to buy those scooters when they never use them.

I'm in Wales, too (South Wales) and I see them everywhere. The only place they fuck me off is when kids take them shopping around Cardiff

I was wondering if they'd infested the rest of the country aswell. Horrible things, bikes are miles better.

So lately in Wales, I'm seeing Kids riding scooters around everywhere. Seriously. Wherever I go.

No bikes, no skateboards, no rollerblades, just scooters. Is this happening anywhere else in Britain, or is it just in Wales where there's a scooter invasion?

I live in Cardiff and there's a huge amount of scooters now. My girlfriends family are skateboarders and often complain of kids on scooters racing across the skatepark in the bay dangerously, while their mothers simply look on oblivious.

I live in south Wales, I used to see scooters all the time a couple of years ago, (I was almost ran over by a yob riding one), but I haven't seen one for ages now.
