This is more of a request for reassurance than advice (although it could turn into advice). I'm in Year 12, and I have a Chemistry modular exam after Christmas. Only... I've lost my statement of entry. Will I still be allowed into the exam? It didn't seem to be an issue at GCSE, but I'm worried that they might be more strict at A level. I can't see a reason for that to be the case, but it's making me nervous nevertheless.

I am going to speak to the teacher regarding this, I just wanted to see what you guys had to say, because I won't be able to until tomorrow.

I would not worry about it, Its likely there will be a teacher there from the school who will recognise you. No doubt your name will be down on some list anyway. If in doubt take some form of ID or have your parents write you a note explaining you lost the statement, better if you can get a teacher to sign it as well. Good luck in the exam.

I got my 2nd year 1st Semester University exams in January. GCSE's are not that important, as long as you get 5 A*-C grades then most colleges will accept you. Its A-levels that are important as they effect what Universities you can go to.

Thanks, that's what I thought. In all likelihood I won't even need it, but I can definitely get someone to vouch for me.

Yeah don't worry about it bro, they def didn't care for GCSE and they didn't mention anything about it in the assembly we had the other day about the Jan exams.

...and I'm lucky enough to not have any in January yaaaaay ^_^.

Best of luck for you mate!

I'm sure that if you talk to a teacher who's helping organise the exam it shouldn't be a problem
