I am switching to Comcast Extreme 50 internet here in about 2 weeks so I have a question to all you hard-core gamers out there... has the 250gb limit ever been a problem for you? My family decided to upgrade so my wife if going to be streaming movies through netflix quite a bit so I'm wondering will it push me over my limit gaming on live and her streaming movies through her TV. I'll admit 250gb in 2008 when they introduced the limit must've seemed like a lot, but in this day and age where HD movies are around 4-6 gb a piece (plus who knows how much data playing Gears 2, Halo, and Battlefield takes up) push me over my limit? Please help!

Depending on how much streaming you do, it could push you over your limit, without even knowing how close you are. I'm going to miss you guys when Comcast decides to shut us down because we went over the limit, mostly from netflix.

If they're done right, which most of them are, the gaming data isn't that large.

Most games are actually kinda compact data-wise, your main issue is probably the netflix thing, but even then, a 2 hour movie is only a gig or two.

Wait, HD? maybe up it by half a gig, a 1 1/2 gigs max.

I think you'll be fine up until near the end of the month :) (don't know anything about my internet connection stuff, but I use comcast, with my siblings, with up to 5-7 systems all using the internet at once and it's never gone over any limit. Occasionalyl we get IP conflicts around the afternoon though.)
