so, I've played RP in person with people, but i have a few questions concerning forum RPing

1. every time I go to join I always end up not, just because the OP says I need to get down my strengths and weaknesses, and I never Know what to put, are you suppost to make these up, or do they come from some rulebook?
2.ok, i live in britan, I assume most of the GM's live in the US, will this be a problem

thanks in advance,

whenever you join an RP your character is whatever you make it so you decide on your strengths and weaknesses there isnt any rulebook as long as your character isnt a God then you should be ok

1. It depends, if by this you mean Dungeons and Dragons, which has a rulebook, then I imagine you would need to use this rulebook for this. If you mean something completely devised like a Star Wars RP on here, then the strengths and weaknesses are made by you but they should always be reasonable - if you are God except when someone throws a penny at your shin, then that is not a good character by any means; the higher your strengths are the risker and deadlier your weaknesses should be, in order to preserve balance and character development for your character.

2. Hasn't been for me so far, some people keep a 1-post-a-day limit so that everyone from all time zones can post, and even if it does not it can work out nicely if you ensure you are on when the timezones overlap I am currently in a CoC RP and the Aussie GM, PurpleRain, is usually on early in the morning my-time, so I make sure that I post most often then so the RP progresses in a fluid way.

you know, you can still try asking sargent toughie if you can join, maybe he'll allow you to....and besides, it's always good to try. but the pirate rp is one you can't join i think......it's been on to long.

I wont say im a GM exactly, but I have started a couple of RPs, half of which have been succesful so far (1-1) and im from Britain, so does that meet your quota? Im intending to get more into forum GMing, it just takes a bit of free time work on the story.

Speaking of GMing, if anyone wants to play a D20 system game PM me. Trying to get people together.
