I don't really use portable games anymore. I used to, but I sold my DS a few months (or years, I don't really remember when it was) ago, and haven't looked back since. If I'm bored while out of the house, I usually reach for [insert gasp here] a book, but I've been known to borrow an iPhone if it's readily available for a few games of whatever they have installed... which usually amounts to Solitaire.

When I did use handhelds, though, I was Nintendo all the way. The PSP did a lot of things well, but the GameBoy and DS just had more to them in my opinion.

The only portable thing I have is the Gameboy Advance. I got it back when it was actually advanced and all my friends had older versions.

I only have my original DS to play w/ (that has a Nintendogs skin on it. So cute) unless you want to count my GBA & GBC, but I haven't really touched those in years so I guess they don't count.

The ONLY portable system I have is a GameBoy Color. It's yellow. I bought it when I was 12 and Red/Blue versions of Pokemon were all the rage. It still works fine; I was playing Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening earlier today.

My vote for other would be my laptop, this is because I have never had the money to keep up with Nintendo's ever changing hand held's and didn't really desire any of the games for the PSP... actually this is also true for the DS

PSP FTW! Just got a 4GB memory stick for my PSP-1000 and I'm downloading demos right now.

Any suggestions for PSOne or Minis to buy?

My GBA SP still suffices quite nicely, thank you very much.
Probably because it kicks the DS's ass with a rusty bag of bolts to the face. ...I'm racist against two screens so sue me.

I have ticked "other". This can be interpreted as either my laptop or as one of these:

Why would I need anything else?

EDIT: why is it that pressing middle-mouse in firefox with the cursor hovering over the page results in me going to the empty domain www.rather.com?

The Nintendo DS. Great games, super-portable, huge user-base (for the multi-player-minded...or Picto-Chatting in lines at PAX.)

Before that, it was a Gameboy and before that it was an assortment of Coleco (and other-brands) LED games (I miss ya, early 70's.)

If iPhone/iPad includes iPod touch. than that would be the most.
It has some of the worst games, but also has some of the most mind-blindingly great games (to me of course). There are also helpful games such as-
Shazam- listens to the music on the radio and can identify who wrote it and what the song is called.
Dictionary- well you all know what that does.
And so forth.
All in all i think that the iPod touch is the best portable game console.

P.S DS's SUCK!
