I already have Netflix and Netflix Instant. And of course cable. Comes with the Apartment, so why would I pay extra.

I wouldn't pay for a "TV channel" as such, but I might be inclined to pony up for some on-demand service with content that doesn't actually suck. Oh wait. They don't exist. (At least not in Sweden)

Sorry but i already have a TV and it has it's uses for me and i don't need to pay for exclusivity unless there's wrestling PPV's on there.

If it has decent content, maybe. I think I would need better internet than I have right now, though, right now I'm having trouble just streaming videos off of XBL.

I just have a small whiny little thing to bring up. I find the poll options a little... non-representing. A simple 'yes' or 'no' would have done fine, so why put those little bits on the end. I say this because I don't watch television. So when I say no, I want to mean "no I don't want the channel". I don't want it to mean "no, because I have other means to watch television" because I don't and still don't want it despite that fact. I'm not saying that I want a special option just for me because I feel the options are biased, but I think that this is a case where simplicity would have done some real good. I want to be part of these votes, I believe the purpose of these is to get an idea of as much of the 'Pist's opinion as can be gathered, and so those poll options seem a bit off.

Not at all, not in the slightest, never never never. First off because I don't watch that much TV anyways, and secondly because I already pay £150 a year for my TV licence (don't know how much that is in dollars, about $220?) and so am immediately adverse to paying any extra for programs. Also, with the number of TV channels putting their programs on the internet for free (BBC iPlayer, ITVPlayer, 4OD, etc) there seems little point in fronting up extra wonga for extra TV channels.
You just managed to sum up my feelings exactly.
The fact I also don't own an Xbox doesn't help its case either.

Just in general (I don't have an XBox), it would depend on the cost, and what content was shown.

If it was $5/mo, and included some cool stuff like exclusive developer interviews, promos, and maybe some original programming (The Guild 30 minute version? That would be awesome).

Then yes, I'd shell out.

Depends.

If it shows all of the old cartoons of my childhood, like old Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network Cartoons (and Toonami), I would buy it in a heartbeat.

Otherwise I'll pass.
this, times a thousand. they already have samurai Jack, but I don't have enough for it, so it's a pass for now. but I would get it if they had boomerang or something like that.

Simple answer: No.
Why should I pay for an exclusive channel when I pay already?
Also, I don't watch TV often (Read: If there is Doctor Who, then watch), so there would be no point in me paying for something I would not watch.
I said yes, only because I didn't think first on the fact that I already pay for live, so I would change my vote to no.

If I could get to watch Doctor Who on my TV, then it would be the only thing I watched on it, but I don't get BBC America which, if I remember correctly, airs the new episodes a day or so after they air on the BBC.

Though I can't complain, only a few days after the new episodes air, someone always ports them onto megavideo.com, and then I just plug my computer into my TV and watch them at normal size like I would if I did get a channel that aired them. It might not be the exact quality of video from watching it from a channel broadcast, but it's only slightly off and I still get the great Doctor goodness.

I wasn't sure about this new Doctor when they chose him, but he has grown on me after I have watched all his new episodes. I get the feeling that he has absorbed the styles of several Doctors. I can see bit of Tennant, Eccleston, Davison, and also some Tom Baker. Also the choice of the bow-tie he wears, it is very Patrick Troughton.

Well, if I actually had Xbox Live, then I may consider this, depending, of course, on what the channel actually offered. If it was just a bunch of trivial crap which I wouldn't have bothered watching anyway, then I certainly wouldn't pay anything, regardless of how cheap it was.

No, for various reasons. Primarily I don't own a X-Box 360, secondly I have everything I want to watch saved on my PC.

New programs are introduced to me when I visit my parents in Devon, then I get home and d/l them if I can from some where and marathon watch it.

I don't watch TV at the best of times.

And I don't play my 360 very often.

So yeah, this is a bit chalk and cheese for me.
