Scooby Doo had some really fun games back on the N64.
Is yogi bear getting a game because of that new movie?

Just about any Shonen power struggle anime (e.g. Dragonball, Bleach, One Piece) is practically built to be a video game.

More American? How about Bucky O'Hare? Not for the furriness, but for the open-ended space action. The general taste of the show's technology would be fun to play with, too.

Well, just of the top of my head:

Hack and Slash: Thundercats (it could even have co-op)
Sandbox: Top Cat / The Jetsons / The Flinstones
City Builder Sim: The Smurfs
Crazy Idea: Figthing Crossover: Thundercats vs Silverhawks

How about a side scrolling beat em up based on The Thundercats? It could be like the great beat em ups from the 90s like X-Men or that one Simpsons arcade game.
That Simpsons game was the greatest arcade game OFF ALL TIME. It was the only one me and both my brothers could play with instead of against each other. My favorite character?
Marge + Vacuum cleaner=FTW
It is/was a great game. It is also arguably the only good Simpsons game.
Soooo... You didn't like Hit and Run? :(
I wasn't all that impressed by it especially when I compare it to the ball of incredible that is the arcade game

Captain fucking Planet?? That would be amazingly fun.
That made me think of this:

OT: Galaxy Rangers, MASK or Robotech. Yes I watched Robotech as a child on SciFi. I was so priviledged back then. Ahhhh.

*reminisces*
DAM IT! the vid is blocked in America!
Man You're lucky. I didn't even have cable in my house until 2005! Could you provide a link to this 'Robotech'?
Ahh sorry about that vid :/

Yeah Robotech (pretty much Macross) was always on Scifi. Along with stuff like Bionic 6, G-Force and other cartoons I forget (some were really really old).

One vid of it that I have found on YouTube is here:

And I also found a link to watch the series here, if you're interested in it: [link]http://www.youtube.com/show/robotechmacrosssaga[/link]

If memory serves the order is: Robotech: The Macross, Robotech: The Masters and Robotech: The New Generation

They also showed what I (years later) learned to be Anime. I used to stay up Friday nights to watch what I now know as Tenchi Muyo, Dominion Tank Police, The Guyver and various movies.

I was about 7/8 at the time.

Fighting Foodons on XBLA.
Combination of fighting, adventure, and cooking sim!

I would totally buy that!

Batman Beyond would be cool. Of course they'd drop the excellent writing though, as most game writers are retarded.
Oh hell yes! It could be cell shaded and everything! I think that could be awesome! But they would have to keep the writing quality the same or I would hurt someone.
Yea...it would probably end up a shitty gta clone (go here, beat up these baddies, escort stupid person A to point B where stupid person C is waiting...)

But would be cool is if it was cel shaded like you said, and had that...free roaming feel to it, but with an ecology system in place IE the police do stuff, but the villains keep cropping up, requiring your intervention.
I wouldn't mind hearing the same 8 voice actors over and over either, if it meant a ton of dialogue.
And Mark Hamill.
And upgrades..mmmm...3rd person acrobatic rpg-ish cyberpunk action packed agile batman...shiny.
