Decapitation or bloodloss? Full skeletal extraction or one bone at a time?

This question is too easy and I demand recompense.

I think generally speaking, death by one big thing is preferable. Unless said big thing happens to be something like this [http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Sarlacc].
I'm confused, why don't you want to be eaten by a giant sand vagina? Sure, you're gonna get digested over centuries, but hey, kill yourself first, that's how you get around that.
Well apparently the Sarlacc injects its victims with nutrients that keep it alive over the years. I suupose if you're going to go a-strollin' around places where you're likely to come across a Sarlacc, it wwould be prudent to carry around some kind of weapon with which to shoot yourself. That is to say, as long as you get it over with quickly and don't get stupid ideas in your head like "Hey, maybe I can escape, like Boba Fett!", because everyone knows its impossible to escape the maw of the Surlacc. Yeesh, all George Lucas needs to do is get too attached to one character, and all of a sudden everyone thinks they can just waltz on out of the creature whenever they please...

You can't keep track of a pack of small things, so they can get you unexpectedly from anywhere. With one big thing, it's usually fairly clear what your relative success chances are in each instant.

small things have to make up for their size with increased evilness therefore it is better to be eaten by something big than something small

remember that one scene in Jurassic park where one guy gets slowly torn apart by a gang of tiny dinosaurs? that would be much worse then getting eaten in one bite by a t. rex

I agree. Also the thought of piranhas or fire ants kind of disgusts me beyond words.
